Zermatt is a car-free village in the upper Valais, one of the alpine cantons of Switzerland. It's probably best known as a platform for skiing and mountaineering, especially on the mountain which towers above the village, the Matterhorn . The surroundings are breathtaking but this comes at a price: Accommodation in Zermatt is among the most expensive in Switzerland.
Hi, I just wanted to let you know the great service we had with McTavish Travel. We worked with Carolyn to book our trip to Australia. She took care of our visa's and flights. Our son lost his passport in Australia, we called Carolyn to find out what we could do about our flights to come back. Carolyn worked with us in cancelling and re-booking some flights. Even with the time change, we couldn't always get a hold of Carolyn. Carolyn gave us an email address to contact her after hours which we were very thankful for.
